Salvaged bottle glass, bought glass, wool tops, digitally printed textiles.
The work explored negative associations with the term ‘fault line’.
This was realised in a piece entirely made from salvaged material, only for a red ‘bought glass’ strip, slicing through the work.
This ‘slice’ was used a metaphor for the disruptive nature of the fault line, and conveying the intrusion into everything that has become so integral to my practice.
